About me: I can do a lot of things but I believe songwriting (especially comic/parody songwriting) to be by far my greatest strength. I know a lot about (or can quickly learn about) various academic subjects, especially at the introductory level, which is why I am currently working as a liberal arts tutor at the city University of New York. Unfortunate economic circumstances have reduced my official workweek to 10 hours, so I have plenty of time to tutor through myJambi. I enjoy playing basketball and poker when I can, which is very rare for the latter, and I can make beginners better at both. Lately I've spent much of my time playing with Facebook applications but I would much rather spend that time helping people through myJambi and making the money I need to pay the rent by myself.

History Tutor, $20-40 per hr

I was a History major in college (top tier liberal arts school) and I graduated with a GPA of over 3.0 within my major. I tutor History students sometimes at work but budget cuts have left me with plenty of free time for freelance tutoring. I know more about American History than any other area but if given a textbook to work with I can help with all sorts of history. I can assist with facts, concepts and writing but I won't write papers for students. I'm offering this service in Astoria, NY.
