- About me: I am an easy-going 27-year-old single guy from Themiddleofnowhere, KS. People call me Hamien (ha-meen). Yes, I know the spelling is not right. That’s part of the story behind the nickname. :) I am very simple person outside of the cubicle. I love traveling, Guinness beer, and 5-ft-2 brunettes ;). I’m not much of a sports freak, although I do enjoy a good Royals game and, of-course, my beloved, yet hapless Alma Mater, the Wildcats. I am interested in all things technology; a trait fostered by my gadget-guy father, who brought home a $2000, KAYPROII when I was 4 years old. If you don’t know what a KAYPRO is, google it and check it. It was one sweet piece of equipment… in 1984. Anyway, this technobession eventually developed into a career for me. I am in the technology sector and casually surveying new employment opportunities in New York City. My dream job would be with a small internet startup firm with about 15 employees and a one really big idea. I have worked 12 years for the same company and have been a part of its transition from the owner's garage to one of the largest in its industry. These means in addition to technology, I possess a unique skill set in the area of business development and expansion that I think would make me a huge asset to one of these companies.
